- Design, implement, and maintain a relational SQL database to store and manage customer data - Write and tune/optimize SQL queries to read, insert and update customer and business data records - Develop, document and support custom reports and queries based on stakeholder interest and KPIs - Review varying/diverse datasets and perform longitudinal analysis to help inform business decisions - Gather, document, and analyze business requirements in order to produce a plan to standardize and optimize business processes, including training materials and modifications/upgrades to the CRM - Automate and streamline processes for standardized revenue reporting, general accounting, billing, mass contacting customers and prospects via email and post, organizing events, managing inventory, and updating the website - Design automated data entry forms that implement multiple levels of data validation to allow staff to accurately enter customer information and avoid duplicate, invalid, or incorrect information - Troubleshoot data issues and develop processes to monitor data quality/integrity and address discrepancies by identifying, fixing, and preventing duplicate records and invalid data - Learn, troubleshoot, and document new software as required by the franchisor, train staff with best practices for new software once it has been integrated into the existing business processes - Identify data types and mapping rules to move data between RDBMS, spreadsheets, Salesforce, Cybersource, Quickbooks, and franchise provided software in order to write, test, and run ETL code - Determine if data sets are mutually exclusive, investigate missing or extra records, simplify conditional statements to ease future maintenance, optimize query performance without compromising the returned data set - Identify, document, and communicate system issues and perform system updates and maintenance, including developing test scripts and regularly performing system tests
